The Rostratus Cichlid, scientifically known as Fossorochromis rostratus, is a species of cichlid fish native to Lake Malawi in East Africa. It's a relatively large, sexually dimorphic species, with males typically reaching 12 inches (30 cm) and females slightly smaller. Males are known for their vibrant blue and green iridescent coloration with black markings, while females are generally pale yellow-brown with a checkerboard pattern.
